Department of Information Management
Core ValueThe Department, founded on holistic education, aims to not only cultivates students to be information management professionals with international outlooks, proactive personalities, independent thinking, innovation, and good communicational skills, but also equip students with professional knowledge and information management capabilities.
Departmental Features
1. The Department was evaluated and awarded as first-class by the Ministry of Education in 2005.
2. The undergraduate curriculum is divided into three major modules – Database Management Professional, Programming Professional, and E-Business Professional – assisting students inobtaining related certificates.
3. The graduate program, established in 2007, features three major modules: Digital Learning Planning Professional, Information Security Management Professional, and Business Intelligence Development Professional.
Faculty
1. 90% of the Department faculty possesses Ph.D. degrees in information management, information engineering, or business management.
2. The faculty is comprised of 20 teachers, including 19 doctoral-level professors (associate professor and assistant professor) and 1 master’s-level lecturers.
Professional Labs
1. International-level examination venues for Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) international certification.
2 .National examination venues for the IT professional certification (ITE).
3.Server management labs serve as the software integration center for the College of Business and College of Business.
Future Career
Graduates of this depar tment can serve as information management consultants, project
managers, business people, programmers, systems analysts, database managers and related positions.
